The packaging resembles a giant bookcase complete with buttoned latches, and provide a permanent case for the set even after it's been built.It's too bad LEGO only had this on the market for a limited time.It should be noted however, that the list price is not $599.99. LEGO was selling this set for $199.99 when it was first released.Understandably the after-market value has increased, but indicating a list price of $599.99 is grossly misleading.The set comprises 2,481 pieces (placing its value at around $300-$350, realistically).

(More customer reviews)Force FX lightsabers are probably the coolest toy to come out....maybe ever. They have tough blades that can take a pretty decent beating, the motion sensor system responds beautifully and they are blindingly bright in the dark (in daylight, the blade light doesn't show up at all but in the dark it's amazing).That being said, the Mace Windu model is by far the weakest one.Possibly the best handle design with the coolest on/off button, this saber takes 6 AA batteries (Why so many???), and it's sound effects are half the volume of the other Force FX models.The sound quality is the worst of all the sabers - most sound like the real deal and this one sounds like a recording being pushed through laptop speakers --- tinny. I've had two of them (the second a warranty replacement) and both have had electronics problems.The first had a powerpack meltdown and the second has LEDs that have become disconnected within the blade (about 50% failure). My recommendation for awesome sabers are the Obi Wan blue, the Anakin blue, the Yoda green and the Darth Maul double blade red.

(More customer reviews)Well you asked me so here it is....My grandson asked for this bionicle Toa Mata Nui for Christmas. Well being a Grandma and wanting to fill his wish I ordered it on the internet from Amazon - Well what does Gramma know? I paid 83.67 and like a dummy paid 5.67 to have it shipped to my house. Sooooooo, I paid 89.28 for what I thought was a limited edition with a DVD along with it. When I received this wonderful box of a zillion plastic pieces some of which I had to use a magnifing glass to see, I was disappinted to say the least. And no DVD - it said on the box that there was not DVD included in the box, so I assumed (there's that word assumed) it would be shipped separately because on the invoice it did say everything may not be in this one box. So I waited for the second box which I assumed (that word again)would come before Christmas. I was getting a little worried and not wanting to dissapoint my grandson,so I e-mailed Amazon and asked when I could expect the DVD - I did not receive a reply from anyone.
Why would this box,a limited edition say DVD not included in the box? If there was not a DVD available why print DVD not inclued in the box????????
But here is the kicker - I went to Toys-R-Us to do more shopping and low and behold what did I find? A limited edition Toa Mata Nui for ARE YOU READY? 59.00!
AND GUESS WHAT - NO SHIPPING.If I would have had time to send it back to Amazon and not pay shipping I surely would have done so. And I could have bought him another gift for what I saved.
Will I do this again HECK NO!
I thought by ordering it through Amazon it would be a lot cheaper.What a dummy I am.
I am retired and live on social security and my funds are limited and I have 4 grandchildren. That extra would have come in handy especially that we did not get a cost of living raise.
You asked how the toy was and gave me stars to rate the toy but you didnt give me any stars to rate your pricing and delivery charges well here is my own star rating its a great big zero and if I could go lower it would be in the minus area.
Signed a very dissapointed and unhappy Gramma but a happy grandson.

(More customer reviews)My son got King's Castle Siege for his 6th birthday and it has been a huge hit.It took him about 3 days to put it all together.He continue to play with it because there are tons of details that are interesting (he got this along with the Skeleton Prison Cage) -- skeletons with swords, knights, dragon, castle secret doors.He uses his action figures to play in the castle, now (Power Rangers, Batman).

This is one of the better Lego's he's gotten.He is an avid "Legoer" and has enjoyed the Star Wars legos in the past, and this is a great addition.

(More customer reviews)I got one of these from Toys R Us for Christmas. Here's my review of it. 1st the instructions could have been written better. (a lot Better)After spending 3 hours to get it together its a lot of fun. being able to control it from anywhere via wi-fi is cool. There is a slight curve in learning to maneuver it around without tipping it over (once its tipped your done if you are remotely controlling it) all in all its a pretty cool toy, yes, just a toy, that said here's what I'd like to see improved in the next version or maybe just an update to this.
1 The camera, there's no zoom, pan, tilt or rotate on this so what you see when controlling it is strait ahead. Seems like this would have been and easy addition since there are already web cams out that can do this
2 the arms, the arms, they do nothing, can we get some arms that maybe pick things up? or maybe even assist when the thing is tipped over.
3 The Sound, the volume is not very good, if your in a quiet room yes you can hear the thing. but the slightest noise downs it out..maybe we can get stereo speakers with a little more volume?

All in all I'm happy with this product and feel its worth the money. yes I'd like to see improvements, but compared to other items like it on the market this one rocks..

(More customer reviews)We just started carrying these at my store, and I have to say that this is one expensive toy that is definitely worth the cost. Master Replicas consistently produces some of the finest reproductions and replicas on the market, and this is no exception. Powered by three AA batteries (which seem to last about 15-20 hours), the saber features some really cool effects: When you first toggle the activation switch, the blade lights up in a manner reminiscent of the films: The light travels from the pommel to the tip, rather than the whole thing just lighting up at once. The blue blade has a nice glow, especially in lower light. Swing the sabre, and it hums and buzzes. Strike something--how hard is up to you, the sabre seems to be pretty durable--and it makes a clashing sound. Strike two sabres together, and the clashing sound is louder and more pronounced. The saber also has an auto-off feature to save battery life: Leave it alone for a few minutes, and it automatically shuts off. Some people may be concerned about how well this holds up over time and use, especially since this is no mere cheap plastic sword, but an expensive replica. Fear not. So far, our demo unit has seen probably a hundred hours of use between customers and employees, along with a few duels with our Vader sabre replica. So far, so good. So it seems to be pretty durable. It's well-made, and the chrome handle is nicely detailed and closely modeled after the one Anakin carries in the movie. Highly recommended for Star Wars fans.

I only purchase Star Wars replicas that are made by Master Replicas because of the detail and care that they put in to the products they make. The helmet came with a stand and certificate of authenticity. You get what you pay for and any true Star Wars fan can see that this helmet is the cream of the crop. Don't be fooled by other companies like Rubies costumes who sell a helmet claiming that it is cast from the original movie molds when it is clearly not, and not made with the quality of a Master Replicas product. Keep one thing in mind when you buy this, if you are under 6ft tall then you will look kinda weird when wear it and Darth Vader stands at a little over 6ft tall and that David Prowse who was the man in the Darth Vader suit in Episodes 4,5 and 6 was a body builder so he filled out the costume out a little more than your average person. So if you are a hard core Star Wars fan and want a perfect piece for your collection The i suggest buying this helmet and keep in mind that Master Replicas is no longer producing Star Wars collectibles or selling them so the only way to find them is through third party sellers.
