(More customer reviews)This helmet is rather large for a nine-year-old's head, but the adjustable headband does keep it in place. The microphone is supposed to alter the voice to make it sound "robotic," but doesn't really have that effect. It just sounds like a regular microphone to me. My son enjoys the programmed sound effects, but can't wear the helmet for more than 10 minutes before his head starts to hurt.
