Then I come across sets like Lord Vader here, and I'm reminded- because these toys rock. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, there should be little doubt in any of our minds that the greatest minds in the world are not curing cancer or ending world hunger, they're coming up with absolutely perfect LEGO sets like this one to thin our wallets and expand our smiles.
From the groovy pearl lightsaber handle (kinda like what C-3PO was molded in, only white)to the astonishing arm mechanisms, this is (dare I say it) the best Star Wars Technic set yet. My, how soft his cape is; the chain, the helmet, the breastplate (that truly rabid collectors will note looks a whole lot like one of the new Bionicle Bohrok pieces... the joy of this set is in the details.
