(More customer reviews)Ralph McQuarrie is well known for his early concept art that served as the "model" for the Star Wars universe that so many fans around the world loved. From paper to 3D this set from Kotobukiya is a must have. Although this scene never occurred in Episode IV, the duel between Darth Vader and Luke Starkiller are brought to life in vivid color and in their signature poses as shown in McQuarrie's artwork. The only thing that would have made this spectacular is if the lightsabers actually lit up and if it was signed by Ralph. The "mechanized" look of Vader's helmet is very detailed as is Luke's breathing apparatus. Vader's helmet was "softened" for the movie and there was no breathing apparatus used by Luke. If you are a true fan, you must have everything McQuarrie, you must have this piece. It is pricey but you won't be disappointed.
