(More customer reviews)This reissue sucks. Don't waste your money on any ridiculous price some third party vendor is bound to ask for this thing. Issues that are wrong with it, and there are many: first the helmet is made out of die-cast metal, which at first sounds cool, but it really isnt. The helmet is so darn heavy, the figure can barely support it. Not only that, but its bronze (not the original gold) and it is oversized, bulky and just plain stupid looking. The face shield protrudes out by a mile and looks awful. Second, the outfit has a terrible fit, looks more like the Staypuft marshmallow man more than anything else. Baggy doesnt even begin to describe it. the original fits streamlined and perfectly cut. Also, the suit is made out of this really cheap looking washcloth material, not the finely stitched and perfectly scaled one of the original '60s and '70s design. The weighted belt weighs a ton, way more than the original, and the weights are oversized. The belt fits too loose and makes him look fat. And if ALL THIS wasnt enough, the weights for the shoes don't even fit. They are too big and fall right off. LASTLY, the hammer is oversized as well. Really, all in all, quite terrible. Do yourself a favor, buy an original deep sea diver on eBay, it is WELL WORTH the extra money.
