(More customer reviews)Jango was my first Medicom figure, eventhough I was always iffy on their 1/6 scale line. Medicom's face sculpts and paint tend to look less realistic than Hot Toys's and even Sideshow's, but I loved how he looked in pictures so I went through with it. Last year I seemed to have bad luck with figures because again, there was a problem with this one, but that's due to Medicom's poor quality control.
Jango just comes with two extra hands and his blaster pistols. His outfit looks outstanding and Medicom really did a heck of a job with the tailoring and sculpting on the helmet, jetpack and armor. Trust me when I say that he looks even better in person. The face looks pretty good too. In fact, it'd be perfect if they hadn't used an almost orange-ish paint color on it. This is one of Medicom's better human sculpts and it's too bad they didn't get the color right because it could've been a perfect head. And since Jango uses the Real Action Hero body, the poseability is flawless. The limbs aren't too tight or loose and you can get any pose possible in real life, and of course some crazy ones that even the best gymnast couldn't do. I can't say enough good things about the RAH body.
However, the quality isn't all there. The tubes on Jango's arms come undone very easily and this is a common problem with each figure. You can glue them back in place, but they should've been properly secured in the first place so it wouldn't need to be fixed. The blaster pistols are also cheaply made- the ends of both of mine broke off in the box and had to be replaced as well. My Jango also had a crooked breastplate and that was beyond fixing since it meant potentially ruining the jumpsuit. My main problem though is the helmet and putting it on. There's only a very thin piece of tape on the inside on the face portion to protect Jango's face from burring against it and losing paint (it's a tight fit). I put the helmet on him twice, and the nose was fine, but silver paint rubbed onto his hair. How hard would it have been for Medicom to make the helmet be on a generic head and switch them that way? One Jango head and the other being a blank head with the helmet on it. Problem solved, and it'd justify the price they ask for these figures!
Jango is still a great addition to any collection. Just be aware that Medicom's RAH figures aren't in-scale with other 1/6 figure lines, and if you plan on having him displayed with the Sideshow Star Wars figures, he'll be a bit shorter by about half an inch.
